Poverty Hurts Programme Let’s Talk, Let’s Listen
October 3 @ 14:00 - 15:30
As the voluntary sector continues to step up in challenging times, we want to bring our communities together to listen, share and learn from each other, discuss challenges and think about the support that is needed.
We are hosting an online Let’s Talk, on Thursday 3rd October 2pm with the National Energy Foundation’s Better Housing Better Health team. Free tickets are available on Eventbrite here.
Attending this event is an opportunity to:
- Learn about the Gloucestershire Poverty Hurts Fund and this autumn’s funding programme
- Hear about the difference our Cost of Living & Poverty Hurts programmes have helped to make over the past 2 years
- Reflect on the impact of the cost of living crisis in our county and for your organisation
- Share the challenges your organisation or community is facing
- Discuss ways to support communities and consider opportunities to work together
We are delighted to welcome Rory Burke from the Better Housing Better Health team at the National Energy Foundation to talk about the support they can offer to people struggling with fuel and energy poverty.
Our work is guided and informed by the needs of our communities so we want to bring together as many Gloucestershire community groups, organisations and representatives as possible to understand where our help is most needed and how our support can be most effective.
This event will not only feed into our understanding of the need and challenges people are facing in our county but will also help direct money raised through our Poverty Hurts Appeal and help with developing networks within Gloucestershire – you never know who you might meet!
We look forward to hearing about your thoughts and experiences at the event.
