INVEST Business Club

The INVEST Business Club" provides a complete solution delivering IMPACT INVESTING and SOCIAL VALUE into the county, enabling companies to work together to maximise impact and share best practice. This CLUB is also open to individuals. Businesses are an integral part of the community in which they operate, offering employment to local people and generating wealth for the local area. Many businesses are developing their SOCIAL VALUE strategy and are looking to INVEST in their local community, but often don’t have the dedicated resources to identify priority needs, communicate with local community groups, and manage large volumes of charity requests and assess applications for funding. So why don't you partner with us?

The INVEST Business Club, enables businesses to grow and develop their “SOCIAL VALUE” strategy, as well as an opportunity to collaborate and share their journey & deliver collectively IMPACT INVESTING across Gloucestershire. Through contributing to the “Community INVESTOR Fund” you will collectively fund organisations that are overlooked and underserved, who are delivering life changing and life saving work, helping you to connect meaningfully to the place you live and work.

Many businesses really want to help local people – but don’t know how to invest effectively and do not have the time to manage their social investing. BUT we know this is good for business and your community and we can help you do this.

We know where the need is and have the widest and deepest reach across the county and can make every penny count. We also pull together and report the IMPACT your having, which you can use internally and publicly, and if applying for government tenders have real evidence and data for your application process.

Businesses and individuals can financially support the community they work in, safe in the knowledge that GCF has the local expertise to maximise their funds and the impact that they make in Gloucestershire.

INVEST Business Club members will help us to foster a vibrant and inclusive Gloucestershire community that inspires passion for our county and communities, in all corners, as well as this being commercially beneficial.

You can evidence your Social Value and its IMPACT

You not only get to meet and share your SOCIAL VALUE journey as a business, and learn from each other, you get to fund together and receive a collective impact report showing the difference you are all making in the county, to share with your teams internally as well as us sharing this impact publicly on your behalf.

Using the “INVEST Business Club” members logo shows everyone that you are committed to helping local communities and really want to get involved.  Our logo can be used across all your marketing materials and website. We will also provide a membership certificate for your premises.

Great stories to be told in the press and social media with great reach across the county, of your business helping local communities through your giving, volunteering and fund raising.

You can collaborate with other like-minded businesses

We introduce you to other like-minded businesses to help you to create new business relationships. Members are invited to the “Community INVESTOR Fund” Grant Panel meetings that decide the criteria for grants and which applications will be awarded grants.

You will be invited to attend networking events

You will be invited to  a range of  events every year and will meet some great people.  We hold business breakfasts or round table events for members and invited guests to understand more about each others’ businesses. Also an Annual Celebration is a social gathering exclusively for members and special guests.

At it’s core, the GFC “INVEST Business Club” brings together businesses who want to work together to support investment in local communities in Gloucestershire where it is needed most and will make most impact.

(£1250 goes into the Community INVEST Fund Grants Pot – £1250 funds INVEST Social Value Programme)
